Why Did I make the decision to have a page dedicated to this scholarship?
Because it changed my life.
And why did Fulbright change my life?
Because , thanks to it, I was able to attend a Master’s degree in the USA at 25 years old.
Because thanks to it, I received a loan that I could start repaying after 4 years from the delivery, giving me the time to study, finish studying, start to work and consolidate a little bit my working position.
But what is this Fulbright?
First, it’s not a thing, but Fulbright was a man.
An American man, who, at the end of the Second World War, within the Marshall Plan (the Aid Plan for the Europe’s reconstruction), had promoted scholarships for cultural exchanges to make the psycological distance between US and Europe so much shorter.

Fulbright Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world (of American issuance, of course) and it’s also one of the best known. In fact it is 70 years old and 59 Fulbrighters are Nobel Prize winners.
